With the ruling of September 12, 1999 – 312 O 85/99 – “Liability for Links,” the Hamburg Regional Court decided that by including a link, one may be held jointly responsible for the content of the linked page. This can only be avoided, according to the court, by explicitly distancing oneself from these contents. We hereby expressly distance ourselves from all contents of linked pages or graphics and do not adopt them as our own.
